Grip
Hold the handles firmly, but not too tight. Different grips shift the effort between shoulders, arms and back.
TorsoSpin uses continuous, circular motion to activate and strengthen your upper body. Change your resistance, grip and position to target different muscles and shape the workout to you.
One machine. Multiple ways to move.
Hold the handles firmly, but not too tight. Different grips shift the effort between shoulders, arms and back.
Turn the handles in smooth circles, like pedalling with your arms. The motion is continuous, so you stay engaged.
Push against the resistance and adjust it to suit you: light for mobility, heavy for strength.
TorsoSpin is designed to facilitate upper-body rotational movement that can involve the arms, shoulders, upper back to deepen how it is used.
Holding the shoulders steady focuses the effort in the arms.
Making shoulder circles and holding the hips steady works the shoulders, back and sides of the torso.
Whether seated or standing, moving the hips gets them and the glutes involved.
A great place to start. Raise and lower the bench to change the angle of effort and muscles involved. Move closer to the pedals to focus on the arms, farther back on the bench to stretch and engage your back and sides (obliques).
Add your hips and legs to the movement, loosening them and comfortably flexing the lower back. Move forward and back, change grips and rotation for multiple variations.
Terrific for the glutes as well as the torso. Bob the hips up and down, weave them side to side to feel the controlled stretch and shaping. Push over the top for shoulder strength, or pump the elbow down for triceps or biceps, depending on your choice of grip.
With high resistance in any of the positions. Keep your head and shoulders steady to focus effort on arms and shoulders. Alternatively, keep your hips steady and shoulders active to focus on your upper back and sides. Or bob and sway the hips for coordinated full body strength and functionality.
With low to moderate resistance. In any position, circle the shoulders, and loosen the hips for gentle stretching and joint lubrication.
